Copenhagen (Denmark) based Supercharger has recently released their second album, ‘That’s How We Roll’ on VME. This is the 12-song follow-up to ‘Handgrenade Blues’, an album I completely missed, so this is my first introduction to this band.

On ‘that’s how we roll’, Supercharger plays radio friendly but sharp edged hard rock enriched with greasy blues and country tunes. Its a divers album, a perfect balance between greasy, fast, explosive hard rock songs and more pop influenced, mainstream rock songs.

‘That’s how we roll’ is quality hard rock’n’roll that will appeal to a divers audience of rock’n’roll fans. Scandinavians now how to rock and Supercharger definitely knows how to roll. 8.5/10
