White Man's Burden was a confused film about racial tensions, set in a world where whites are the minority oppressed by the black majority. For some reason, this world is filled with music by alternative/modern rock bands, but very little R&B. Alternating between grunge (Meat Puppets, Bush) and neo-hippie rock (Hootie & the Blowfish, Dave Matthews Band, Blues Traveler), the soundtrack doesn't gel into anything distinctive. Each track on the album is previously unreleased, but none of them are interesting.
