The soundtrack to Susan Sarandon and Natalie Portman's 1999 film Anywhere but Here features a diverse collection of female artists like Pocket Size, Marie Wilson, Sinead Lohan, Lili Haydn and Bif Naked. k.d. lang performs the title track, Leann Rimes contributes "Leaving's Not Leaving," Carly Simon and Sally Taylor duet on "Amity," and Sarah McLachlan sings "Ice Cream." Representing two generations of women in rock, Anywhere but Here is a fitting complement to the film's mother-daughter relationship.
