My Melody Review by John Bush
Queen Pen is obviously a talented songwriter and rapper from the range of themes on her debut album, My Melody. One problem however, is that the album was produced by Terry Riley, who doesn't really know how to write songs in the vein of Foxy Brown or Lil' Kim, whom Queen Pen appears to be styled after. The result is an album produced with a pop/R&B diva in mind, though she is neither pop nor a diva.
