Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore recorded the evocative instrumental score to James Mangold's superb Heavy, which offers a soundtrack which also includes music from co-star Evan Dando, Freedy Johnston, the Connells, the Rake's Progress, the Plimsouls, Rosie Flores, the Vidalias and Ben Vaughn.
