AllMusic Review by Michael Gallucci
Peter Stuart guides Happy Nowhere, for all intents and purposes a solo album disguised as a band offering, precisely where the title promises. It's blissful alt-rock with no point or purpose. That doesn't make songs like "Everything Falls Apart" bad; in fact, some of these tunes are very pleasant in a Counting Crows kind of way (not so coincidentally, Stuart was a backing vocalist for that band while recording this album). It merely makes them forgettable in the end.
