Ultimate Dance Party 1998 is an entertaining, continuous-mix party album that features such hits and club staples as Mark Morrison's "Return of the Mack (C&J Edit)," and Real McCoy's "One More Time," Crystal Waters' "100% Pure Love," Toni Braxton's "Un-Break My Heart (Uptempo Mix)," Gina G's "Ooh Aah Just a Little Bit," La Bouche's "Sweet Dreams (Club Mix)" the Notorious B.I.G.'s "Mo Money Mo Problems," and the Chemical Brothers' "Block Rockin' Beats." It's not a perfect collection -- it has a couple of weak cuts, and the continuous mix can be irritating to casual listeners -- but it's ideal for parties.
