AllMusic Review by Brian O'Neill
Sometimes Nick 13, the singer and all-around grand poobah of Tiger Army, rekindles memories of a young Glenn Danzig, with his wah-wah wailing about all things ghoulish layered loudly atop a mix of spunky punk with just the right touch of rockabilly twang. Check out the porn paean "Annabel Lee" for a perfect example of the band's Misfits fixation. Fortunately, the SoCal crew doesn't get into makeup or other cheesiness, preferring to let all three chords do the talking, and it is simultaneously harsher and more melodic on disc number two, no mean feat.
