AllMusic Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine
Sugartooth's eponymous debut album is a unbearably heavy collection of grungy alternative metal that comes across as a hybrid of Soundgarden, Helmet, Slayer and Jane's Addiction. The group has trouble comeing up with memorable hooks, but their sound is monolithic and powerful, and that's what makes Sugartooth a promising debut.
