Nine tracks of instrumental beauty, somewhat like a hybrid of the creativity and style of Oxes intersecting with the melodic spirit and rhythmic mind of Don Caballero. Lynx's self-titled album maintains powerful and interesting songwriting throughout, displaying an immense amount of talent without going overboard. Ingenuity and extremely pleasing to listen to, this album should be considered a must-have for all fans of instrumental indie rock.
