Released on September 18, 2007 the 12 song collection is full of catchy guitar riffs and melodies paired with front man Donald Carpenters strong vocals making it a very listenable compilation.
When listening to the disc the first song "Better Think Again" screams Likin Park, there's no denying it but it's still a very good tune. The rest of the songs hold their own with some of the standouts being "Over Now," "Wonder" and "Sarah & Johnny." The songs seem to flow with lyrics drawing from real life experiences from a band striving to get out their sound in the brutal commercial world of music.

This sophomore submission is slightly different than their first in being more melody driven, cohesive rock music and not quite as raw or hard. This could be do to the replacement of their lead guitarist or just the maturing of the band as a whole but Submersed seems to have bypassed the sophomore jinx and scored with this collection of original songs. If you like their first album, give Immortal Verses a try. If you never heard of them get both discs because each one stands up and demands attention.
