AllMusic Review by Barry Weber
Through powerful albums such as Lita and Dangerous Curves, Lita Ford showed a great amount of potential in her music, in which she was always able to spew a bunch of unique tracks on each record that usually left a lasting impression. However, her 1995 release Black seems like a last-ditch effort to revive her fading career. Although Ford sings well, the record suffers from poorly written songs and tired, washed-up performances, making it no surprise that the album failed to achieve any noteworthy sales.
