AllMusic Review by John Bush
Destiny's Child isn't quite just another debut album from an R&B girl group. The quartet worked with Wyclef Jean and Jermaine Dupri among others, and their voices sound beautiful together. Still, much of the album sounds indistinguishable from all the other female groups out there. When Destiny's Child does sound different, as on the single "No, No, No, Pt. 2," they're more than competent.

    1. Not all reissues contains bonus songs. Some independent releases will have reissues. This is due to the original being independent, meaning the artist or band self released the album without a major label/distribution. If a label signs the artists/band and chooses to release the original album, they will reissue it either during the same year or the following year with a proper catalogue/label number and record company information. In this case, the reissue will have a catalogue number, different album art, if available and different CD art, if available. Reissue means to release the album again with changes, bonus tracks or by a different company for a different market (sometimes) or for the same market. Re-Release means to re-release the same album again during the same year by the same company for what ever reason they wish. Quality control is one of them Defective CD's get recalled and are re-released again.
